LUDLOW Town Football Club beat the freezing conditions today but couldn't overcome Westfields.
Mike Seaborne's men hastily arranged a friendly after their home league match was postponed.
Midland Alliance title-chasing Westfields, from Hereford, were too strong for Town.
Westfields won 4-0 in a match played this afternoon (Saturday) on the all-weather 3G pitch at The SBS Stadium.
The freezing conditions caused havoc with today's sporting programme across the area.
