LUDLOW Town boss Mike Seaborne says teenager Jake Pryce has a bright future in the game after shining in the snow against higher-graded Westfields.
The central-midfielder kept a cool head in last Saturday’s friendly against the Midland Alliance high-fliers, who were fired to victory by veteran Sam Bowen.
The former Leominster Town manager scored all of his side’s four goals in the first half of the match on the 3G pitch at the SBS Stadium.
But Town improved after the break and were holding their own against the Hereford club when the game was halted after 70 minutes because of the wintry conditions.
Ludlow host Broseley Juniors in the Shropshire County League this Saturday.
